Since September 2023, I have dedicated myself to make the most of my time in and outside of college, including on the commute there and back. To do this, I have picked up book reading, and in summer of 2024, I read Dracula for the first time. In addition to expanding my literary vocabulary, this habit has also ignited a new spark of my creativity. I now regularly do character exploration illustrations from books I’ve just finished reading in order to both process the characters and story, as well as to experiment with new techniques in a space free from expectations.
